Grady College and Porter Novelli are teaming up again to sponsor UGA's third annual conference on public relations and social media, to be held Sept. 19 in Athens. The unofficial theme this year is "integrating social media with traditional PR and marketing."
The student team (Kristin English, Allison Brill, and Lesley Anne Dickerson) and I are working on the rest, and we'll keep you updated via @UGAconnect.
Unfortunately Grady's Web site recently got hacked (by Russians, no kidding!), so we're slow getting the registration site up -- I'll let you know when it's ready. The deadline will be Sept. 11.

If you're looking for more ideas, I'd be interested to hear a panel of recent graduates talk about their experiences with social media. What are they expected to know? How does what they learned in college translate to the real world? How do different agencies, non-profits, corporations etc. use YPs in strategy, implementation, measurement?

Sydney, they're doing something similar to this at PR Camp Atlanta (in fact, I think a couple Grady grads will be in the mix).
Natalie, so glad you're going to make it this year! It's going to be great.
